Haven't done one of these in a while!

1. I've been laughing really deeply past couple of days. I just feel good.
2. Yesterday I was on a three hour phone call where i only said "Hello", "Tell me", I love you". Sometimes being there is just listening.
3. I hurt someone today :( unintentionally but then I couldn't lie...
4. I made something delicious today! a complete experiment. I've still got it! whooop and it was diet complaint!
5. I could eat greek salads forever. Noms.
6. I really enjoy and value my time alone.
7. My phone dependency has drastically reduced! I can't believe it. I barely look at it now. it's a great feeling.
8. Do you have a blog? I want to see. show me.
9. God loves me, I believe it. He loves you too. A lot

Thursday tidbits

Hey y'all!!! (I will explain this in a bit)

1) I explored today (aka walked miles in search of an interesting grocery store) and came upon this wonderous(is this a word?spell check thinks not) place. Guess what I bought, Chicken, Catfish and Goatmeat!!
2) I'm happy, this may or may not be related to the above
3) I love being in school it's just... awesome
4) Oh so I said "Hey y'all" because I've acquired a Texan accent from watching GCB. It's such a bad drama filled addictive show. guilty pleasure
5) Cooking has been the only thing keeping me sane these days, I've been writing my recipes and waiting to get my camera so I can share ^_^
6) Do you have a Pinterest? No clue what it is? Read this <--- very good description
7) Well I'm on pinterest, you can see my boards at https://pinterest.com/sabirah0/ I'm obviously obsessed with wedding decor and planning!
8) The weather in California is just odd, hopefully it's nice enough to go to the beach this weekend :)

Thursday Tidbits

1. Thank God it's Thursday!whoooop. I like thursdays
2. I went to toastmasters today, it was such much fun! I really enjoy the company of my older friends! They are hilarious.
3. Remember the Dr and his wife? The cute couple? Remember I said they were min 50's ish! How wrong, they are both over 60!! amazing bodies, speech, fashion sense, errrrthaaaang. Like wow. Guess how long they've known each other? Since they were born!! they were childhood neighbors :')
4. I made up a word today "Sustainable love" love that lasts. Sure we like (well I like) the dizziness that romance brings but will it all last? What makes love sustainable?
5. I'm writing a post on my teaching experience so far and I keep deleting it because so many people know the school and I don't want to slander but I want to be honest. Does that make sense? What do I do?
6. The diet is going well. I cheated yesterday, with a few spoonfuls of delicious beans and sweet corn, then my stomach hurt a bit, and for most of today it's been hurting. Serves me right! *blowing raspberries at self*
7. I've been seeing pregnant women eeeeverywhere!! They are following me! Pregnant women are haunting me saying look at my fertilized eggs hahahahha :( I wish they would stop :(
8. I can't hold a grudge, it eats at me till I pretty much grovel and beg the person whether or not i'm at fault. This can be a problem. I opened a jar of nutella yesterday to console myself, realised I couldn't eat it cos of the diet, started crying and then caught sight of myself in the mirror and started laughing! I have the ugliest crying face ever.
9. I then tweeted till I fell asleep I am thankful for my boring drama free life

Happy TGIAF aka Thursday.
It's been a long week but a great one.

1. I really do love teaching, I knew I would but Mahhhhn I really do
2. I don't trust white people in west Africa, maybe I should expand on this later?
3. Relationships are work. good work, but work nevertheless
4. I'm tired
5. My body is fighting me, not quite used to all this hustle and bustle
6. It's almost valentines daaaay :D
7. I love the guys I call my friends, they are a special bunch!
8. I want black lipstick and Halima is sending me one! :D
9. I'm really thankful for everything, cos right now I have it all (except money. lol- it's on it's way)

Thursday Tidbits

Hello! Happy Thursday!

1. I didn't do anything today. I just walked around in a tee and boy-shorts, ate and slept. It felt awesome.
2. I miss baking! Need to fix the oven!! I need to cook more!
3. The partner and I are starting the insanity workout program, I think on monday, I'm not gonna lie I'm scared but I'm glad I have a partner. We are trying to be toned although he has a pretty great body.
4. I love my new teaching Job.
5. But we have a dress code, no pants! can you believe that :( and a color code too! Monday- white, Tuesday-blue, Thursday- Lilac. The rest are free days. This means i have to buy new clothes. Shopping in Lagos on a limited budget is tedious.
6. I want an iPhone, cos i think instagram is cool, but it's like number 456 on my want list
7. I'm excited about valentines day! :D did I say this in my last post?
8. The partner has been gone for 4 days. I miss him terribly :(
9. He comes back tonight ^_^

Thursday Tidbits

Hello wonderful people!
In an effort to start blogging more often i'm introducing new mini features! Today I present "Thursday tidbits"!!! <this is where you clap. yaay> It's basically going to be me just dropping little tidbits about whatever is on my mind at the moment, in a micro blogging manner kinda how twitter used to be back in the day. Here goes! Hope you like!

1. I'm so very happy right now! I've spent the past hour dancing around the room to the amazement of my partner and friend. My Electric dance playlist is the best!
2. I have the best partner in the world
3. Most of my closest friends are old friends, few newbies though! shout-out to Seyi n Kech :) <3
4. I went for the most awkward interview today. It lasted 2 hours and 20mins O_O. It went well. Got the job :D. More later
5. I don't ever want to be a rude person, or condescending to anyone, it's such an ugly trait
6. I'm excited about valentines day! I just love it!
7. On Saturday i'm going to a birthday party dinner thingy, dress up and maybe subtle matchies (puke) with the partner?
8. I'm really thankful for my naturally sunny disposition
9. It's my momma's birthday tomorrow!!
